Custom Design for Group Performances

Here’s how it works:


Step 1: The Vision

During our first meeting, we’ll discuss your vision for the routine we'll be creating costumes for. We'll explore the mood, colours, music tempo, and more. Feel free to bring any sketches or Pinterest inspiration—but please note, we won't copy anything directly. Together, we'll create a quick sketch, discuss fabric choices, consider the number of students in your group, and set production/delivery expectations.

Step 2: Deposit

If you wish to proceed, a $500 deposit is required to research, pattern, cut, and sew a sample of the costume. This deposit will be credited to your final invoice. If you decide not to proceed with costuming, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

Step 3: Measurements

Next, we require a measurement chart to be completed for each dancer in your group and returned promptly to us. Alternatively, we can have a member of our staff attend a class to measure the dancers for a small fee. Note: the sample costume will be tailored for a specified group member.

Step 4: Sample Creation

Upon receiving the measurement chart for the group member you’ve selected as the sample tester, we will move forward with crafting the sample costume for your review and approval.

Step 5: Production

To initiate costume production within the required timeframe, a 50% deposit of the total order (plus HST) is necessary. Costumes will be completed as agreed upon and ready for pick-up or delivery via a delivery service.

Step 6: Fitting

We may suggest a fitting to ensure the best fit for certain styles, allowing for minor adjustments like strap length, if needed. Please note: any changes requested to the approved sample design will incur additional charges.

Step 7: Final Payment & Delivery

Payment in full for the remaining balance (excluding the initial deposit) is required before pick-up or delivery can be arranged. We accept e-transfer, credit card, or cash as payment options.
